Hey knotties!!

I have a quick question on where we can elope in or near the quarter.  is there a nice courthouse (nice enough for pictures) where we can just put our signatures to a piece of paper?? or an officiant that can marry us around the area??
any help would be greatly appreciated :)) we certainly are not picky and being students saving money is the main idea :))

    I would check out Judge KK Norman at the Algiers courthouse. She performed our ceremony onsite, but we had to go to the courthouse to sign the paperwork for the license and it was very nice. Cute old courthouse and great view of the river. You could make an afternoon of it and take the ferry over to Algiers, have the ceremony and then come back over and do dinner in the Quarter.

    We used KK too and I was going to say the exact same thing about having your ceremony at the Algiers courthouse. 

    It's beautiful. It felt like being in the courthouse of a town in the Old West circa 1860.  And KK is amazing; she makes her civil ceremonies very romantic and personal.
