Hi Everyone,
I need some advice about inviting coworkers to my wedding particularly my boss. Since I work in a very large office I was not going to invite anyone because I'd feel too bad picking just certain people and inviting everyone in just my section alone would be at least 20 people.
However one of my bosses was married a couple years ago and invited the entire office to her wedding and I went. It was not a really formal wedding just a church service and a reception at the church with minimal hors d'oeuvres and champagne (I maybe stayed at the reception about an hour or so). Part of me feels like I have to invite her because I went to her wedding but honestly I do not want to invite her.
While I talk with her and other co-workers about our personals lives we do not really hang out outside of work and none of them have ever met my fiance.
I also feel bad that they will probably throw me a shower at work (as we usually do for everyone) but I'm not inviting anyone.
I keep going back and forth and my mom is making me feel guilty for not wanting to invite someone who's wedding I went to. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any advice it's greatly appreciated!
