I went to the last page onthis board and looked at posts for fun. I noticed most of the "older"/ "first" posters don't post anymore

Also,we have grown oo much,that there are a lot of repeat questions. Last, I noticed, we seem to be more friendly now than, then.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I was shocked at how many of them no longer posts and how unfriendly some of them seemed. I think our group is a ton better now!

They seemed to be less open to peoples ideas and suggestions. Now we can offer advice and talk aobut othe NWR things on thie board.

I used to post a lot more on this board when I first got engaged and over the summer, but now it seems I don't have as much time. I don't ever remember people not being friendly though.

Now that I haven't been over here as much, I don't recognize as many of the posters. Kelsey, CVille, Midge, Dogers, are who I remember the most, and they're still here giving great advice and keeping the board alive. Dani, I do remember you too! I think the board is much busier now, but I don't see it being much different, other than more people are FB friends.

We still have a couple girls on here. A few that I noticed in the first post was Julie, weezie and Dodgers (although I think she changed her date and user name.)

I also noticed that some of the girls moved their weddings up. I would't blame them. 1 1/2 years is hard enough, I can't imagine 2 or more!

Plus, so much can happen in 2 years! Job and life wise. Not to mention if you are known to change your mind on a lot of stuff! haha I have changed venue 3 times...

I'm still here!!! I am always reading posts, but don't respond all the time, especially if what I think has already been said multiple times by others. And you guys are right...It IS a LONG time!!! LOL Seriously...we've been engaged FOR-E-VER!!! We had reasons for having a long engagement though, and I'm still happy with the long engagement. We just had too many things going on (a new house, a new job, and trying to finish school).

That makes total sense! I would probably have changed my mind (multiple times) on everything except the groom! :P

I first posted back when I first got engaged (July 2010), but I left and came back this past February I think. I will have been engaged almost two years when we get married and I agree that it is a VERY long time! Although I don't think I changed my mind on very many things--I pretty much knew what I wanted from the start.

LOL! Sometimes it takes me a long time to make a decision. I tend to look and research, and look and research, and look and research more to make sure I have checked out all my options, but once I make a decision, I don't change my mind.

I got engaged in June 2010 and didn't discover the boards right away. Our originial date was July 14 but FI and his then best man could've had their 2 1/2 weeks of AIT in the summer (for the Army) so we moved it up. My photographer had 2 dates: June 2 and end of June. We picked June 2 because a guy in his unit said it's never been that early.

I haven't seen Dodgers around in a while but I also remember she changed her date

I actually went back and read the last few pages a few weeks ago. It was fun! Haha. There are A LOT more girls (and man) on here now than there were back then. I started posting in February and there are a good bit if girls still on here, and a bunch of new people.

I've gone back and it is kinda interesting to read some of what people used to say.

Also: Dodgers is not married yet. She pushed her wedding back but is still on here now and then.
