Macy's sip and scan event

I noticed that the Warwick Macy's is having a sip and scan event (http://content.theknot.com/sitelets/macys-sip-and-scan/).  Has anyone been to one? 

We have to register soon and it seems like an easy, fun way to do it.  I tried to email and get more information but they have not responded.  TIA!

    I have not gone to one of these events, but I can tell you that so far I've been very pleased with my Macy's registry.  None of my guests have had problems, the registry has updated accurately, and none of our items have been discontinued.  We've been happy!

    Thanks mandafly84!  I think we are going with Macy's and Crate & Barrel.   It's just odd that they are being unresponsive about RSVPs.

    I would try calling the store directly and ask to speak to the person in housewares- they should help you. I agree with Manda- I love my Macy's registry.I originally dind't want to register there (I hate department stores), but the woman has been beyond helpful (I registered in North Attleboro) and the register is always accurate.

    She even spotted me buying a suitcase the other day and stopped me and said "don't you have a registry here!". She added it to my registry then I purchased it (you get 10% back on"self" purchases from your registry-- so I would be missing out on that).

    FYI for anyone interested, call the number on the website since the woman who they say to email is on vacation for 3 weeks!  It sounds like a great event, any perks are nice.  Glad to hear such positive experiences with Macys!
