I absolutely adore the dress I chose! David's Bridal T3299.

Our wedding is a formal-ish one, and the ceremony will be outside, on the deck of a country club.
I know I'd like to wear the veil with a blusher over my face until I get to my FI at the end of the aisle, but when the woman at David's Bridal let me try a couple veils, I felt like I looked like something from a halloween horror movie, with the giant poofy thing going on.
I'm also on the pleasantly plump side, so I want it to be flattering. I have NO IDEA what kind of veil would work, or what would look good with my dress. I DO know I don't want it to be super long, like the train.
Please, does anyone have any suggestions?
