Vendor Reviews

Hello Knotties!!!

I'm Married!!!!

First let me say my wedding was absolutely PERFECT; I really mean it. All of the vendors I worked with were Amazing and really helped make my big day a success.

Venue: The Georgian Club
I chose The Georgian Club as my venue because they have a beautiful outside space. The outside space has a small garden, a waterfall, and a bell tower that can be incorporated in your ceremony. The wedding coordinator here, Andrea Wilson, is the most amazing and impressive person to work with. She was always willing to help whenever I needed anything and made sure that every detail; regardless of how small, was exactly how I wanted it to be. If any issues occured, I knew nothing of them because she resolved them right away. On my wedding day I was completely stress free. I was able to sit back and enjoy they day without worrying about anything. Trust me I am not exaggerating, The Georgian Club gets an A++++. Everything was perfect, food, service, reception area. I got nothing but compliments from my guest; some even too photos of their food. The Georgian Club is also reasonably priced. I think in total we paid about 10k- that included ceremon space, reception space, 2 entree choices, and a premium open bar with a signature drink. If 10k is too expensive, believe me Andrea will work within your budget to make it happen.

Music/Entertainment:
For my DJ services i used DJ Slone with Slone Productions. I have nothing but positive and amazing things to say about Staley (The DJ). Staley worked with me to help me organize all the details of my ceremony and reception and to really understand the direction I wanted to head in for my musical selections. Let's just say my wedding reception was the BOMB!! All of my guest had a lot of fun. The reception was live and upbeat; just how i wanted. We stayed on the dance floor all night!! I highly recommend Staley for his musical genious and expertise. The man knows what he's doing and performs his job well!!! He is also a pleasure to work with. He also went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect and stress free.Oh, almost forgot staley also provided beautiful lighting; all at an affordable cost.

Celso's Cake:
I ordered my wedding cake from Celso's Cakes. It lived up to my every expectation from the design to the taste. The staff at Celso's really listened and worked with my husband and I to create the perfect cake for us.

Florist:
Sue Park- Creative Occassions
Sue is sweetheart!! My wedding flowers exceeded my expectations. I hand selected my flowers and arrangements and I was in complete shock when I saw the final product; they were amazing. Again, sue was very affordable and worked within my budget. She even suggested similar flowers that were less expensive to make sure I stayed within budget. No complaints at all. I highly recommend Sue and Creative Occassions!!

Like I mentioned my wedding was PERFECT, in every aspect of the word. I spent around 20k give or take a few dollars here in there. I hope these reviews help.

Happy Planning Knotties!

Re: Vendor Reviews

  • That's interesting about Celso's.  FI and I went there Sunday for a tasting and the frosting was awful.  We were wondering if it was because the tasting slices had been in a fridge, did you have a similar experience?

  • Glad you had such a great wedding! Congrats!
  • No, my tasting at Celso's went fine. I am not a cake and sweets person so I didn't eat much of the samples. What I did taste were fine.
