How many Hairstylists do you have for your bridal party?

Hi Ladies!

for those of you having a stylist come to do your wedding parties hair, how many styists do you have in relation to the number of girls using the service?

I have seven total including myself, 5 BM and a Jr. BM.  the company mentioned that I would only be getting one stylist and it takes 35-45 minutes per head.  They did say I could get an extra stylist if I wanted one (although I'm going to guess this comes with an extra fee - I have not asked yet.)  This does not seem right to me, so I'm just curious what other companies out there are doing.  I really do think I need more than one sylist and don't feel that I shoudl have to pay extra.  What do you ladies think? Who are you using and what have they told you??

Thanks!!

  • I have 10 people getting their hair done so we have two stylists, no extra fee.

  • I had 5 girls, plus me and my mom (so 7 total).  We had 1 stylist for hair and 1 for makeup.  We ended up having plenty of time.  As long as you let them know what time you need to be ready by (and there's a big enough window from when the stylist arrives), it should be fine.
  • I have 8 people for hair and make-up including myself and I have one stylist for each.

  • I have 8 people getting their hair done and one stylist. She said starting at 9-9:30am everyone should be done by 12:15-12:30

  • I think one stylist is fine if they give themselves enough time.  I am getting hair and make-up done by Larissa Lake Make Up Artist.  She said that she has only one stylist for hair and one for make-up (which happens) that she comes 2-3 hours earlier.  I have 4 people total (not sure if it is two hair, two make-up) so they don't have to come as early.  As long as they are giving themselves enough time, I think it is fine.
  • I have 6 girls in my BP, plus me and my mom...so 8 total. We have 2 stylists..the second stylist doesn't come with a fee (just a separate tip). They said they will arrive around noon to have us all ready by 3. I am pretty sure one of them is doing hair, and the other is doing makeup...

  • I have 7 of us (including me) doing hair/make up, there are two of them. However, we are all doing hair trials/make up trials beforehand to make sure we know what we want, to make sure things stay on time!

I had a total of 10 girls getting their hair done (including me) & we had 4 stylists. My hair salon organized a schedule estimating time & flow with the make-up artists that came in as well (we had 3).

The girl's hair took about 45min. to an hour each depending upon their style (most had updo's & some blow dried). We started at 7am & all were done by 10:30am the latest.

  • I have a total of 5 including myself, and they are sending 2 people (no extra fee). I'm using Beauty Entourage.    My SIL's wedding was in Sept. and she also had 2 people, I'm not sure if they charged an extra fee though
