I see we have a few new faces since the holidays! Why don't we all post our names, wedding date/details (if applicable!), a fun fact about us, and anything else we want to share? I'll start! My name is Sarah and my DH is Steve. We got married April 26, 2009 at Town Manor. These message boards were so helpful for me when I was planning our big day! My fun fact is that we have a baby who turned four months this week. Something interesting...I think too many brides skimp on their makeup; your face is in every photo, so spend the extra money on someone who has training in makeup for photography!

Name: I'm Nikki and my soon to be hubby's name is Diony.
Wedding Details: We're getting married December 16, 2012 in Walt Disney World (Wedding Pavilion and Atlantic Dance Hall). We wanna go with an art deco/ 1920's feel, and our colors are Plum, Slate grey and white.
Fun Fact: We're both teachers (and both teach world history). I also teach Drama and am the Magnet Lead teacher for my program.

Steve has a pretty unusual job--he's an entomologist. I'm a social worker.

Name: I'm Emily and my fiance's name is Garrett
Wedding Details: We're getting married November 4th 2012(he proposed 11/4/11) at the Grand Bohemian- we are doing a small intimate wedding(25 guests, at this point almost all family) and I can't seem to figure out colors!

Fun Fact: We are both competetive road cyclists and actually met due to our mutual friends(but started talking over facebook and not in person)

My name is Jesica, and my fiance's name is Brian. We are planning to get married sometime in January of 2012. Our colors are a range of whites, greys, and muted blues and navy's. We want something smallish (no more than 100 people) somewhere in the Winter Park or Sanford area, I love the Winter Park Farmer's Market for a reception, now to find a church. We love traveling together, I work for Marriott so I'm usually able to get us decent deals, he proposed in Charlotte, NC... later that night his cousin proposed to his girlfriend in Mt. Pleasant, right outside of Charlotte.

fun fact: we had actually "met" each other a few times before we were formally introduced by mutual friends becase we were both working at Universal at the time and ran into each other backstage.

We both work for my dad. Him for 8 years and me for 7 years. I have 2 kids from a previous relationship and Robert is the best dad I could ask for to raise them with.

Name: My name is Morgan and my fiance is Christopher.
Wedding details: We're getting married December 20,2012 at Leu Gardens with the reception at Winter Park Farmer's Market. Our theme is nautical with navy, cobalt blue, a teal/turquoise, and ivory. We are very excited!
Fun Fact: We live in Dallas, Texas, but Christopher is a Floridian on a very long vacation. When we got engaged, we just had to have our wedding in his hometown- Orlando. Christopher is in Chiropractic school and I'm almost finished with my Pre-med undergrad degree. December was the only time our school breaks coinsided. We can't wait to move back to Florida after school!

Name: Hi, I'm Nicole and my fiance is JJ.

Wedding Details: We were just married on January 28, 2012! Our ceremony was at the Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens with the reception at the Winter Park Farmers Market.

I didn't really get to post on here too much while planning because we own a business and it has been super busy.. but I plan on sticking around to try to help out other brides with their planning. I did a lot of DIY stuff and hired all local vendors, so hopefully I will be able to help! Can't wait to do reviews and share pictures with you all. Happy Planning!

I am Yelle, and I am an event coordinator in the area. My fiance is a video game concept artist. We are getting married May 4 2013 at the farmers market in Winter Park. Our colors: sage, lavender, tan. Our theme: rustic & botanical. One unusual thing about us: we collect taxidermy butterflies and insects. We fell in love with it on our trip to Paris in which we visited one of the oldest taxidermy shops there! It was so magical.

I'm Jessi and my FI's name is Vincent!

We are getting married November 3rd (?), 2013...I don't know an EXACT date yet, but I'm shootin' for this one!!

we're looking in the Orlando area to get married, but have ONE spot in mind...Heaven Event Center..

Our colors are marine blue and ivory. Our theme...hmm! Not sure how to describe it, but I want a lot of stars involved...not PROM themed, but enough to be simple yet elegant

Elegant like Stardust the movie, but not OVER-THE-TOP, ya know??

A Fun Fact: My FI and I met working at Disney World and he proposed to me at the Grand Floridian, as the orchestra on the second floor played "Beauty and the Beast", which was the first song we danced to back on our second date!!!

Hi!!

I'm Denna (sounds like Dee-nah) and my guy is Travis.

We're getting married August 4,2012! We're less than 6 months away!!! We're getting married at Garden Theatre in Winter Garden with the reception at their ballroom for around 130 people. Our colors are pink ( a few shades) and orange. Travis picked them out because they match my hair

. We don't have a theme per say but photos are involved so maybe that's our theme, idk.

Our fun fact....let's see.....We have a fur, exoskeleton and scale family. Along with the 3 cats, we have a crabitat of hermit crabs and a tank of fishes!
