Affordable Wedding Planner

I live in Georgia and am trying to plan a wedding in Wendell, NC (outside of Raleigh).  I'm not familiar with the area or vendors and need some help on a small budget.  I'm planning on 75 people on a $6000 budget.

I'm around the same budget.  and wedding next may.  My venue is Gregory Vineyards (Angier NC) They are super nice and really affordable.  My caterer is Crimson Lights Catering in Dunn, NC (great food and great price)  I have all the linens myself but I'm more than willing to rent them out.  The vineyard has chairs and tables on site for free of charge.  I'm still undecided about my photographer but Lisa Ennis Photography is AMAZING.  I'm using Sams Club for my flowers.  They are more than affordable

Anything else jsut ask.  Good luck :)

I'm using Tia at The Perfect Plan...she is VERY reasonable compared to other planners I have looked into. We have been working with her now for several months and she is very organized, has lots of creative ideas, and is very resourceful.

I am having a blast planning my own wedding. I have been in the service industry for the last 10 years and have made a lot of connections in the Raleigh/Durham area. I am considering starting my own wedding/party/event planning business.

    My questions:

    - Would you ever consider hiring someone with my limited experience if the price was right?

    - What are your main expectations from your wedding planner?

Hi everyone!!! I just moved to the North Carolina area from Maryland after getting married myself this past April. I have always loved everything about weddings and events coordinating. I would love to start a wedding planning business in the future but need to get some experience under my belt in this area. If you are interested in having someone help with the "day of " coordinating, or even with the whole process please get in touch with me. You can email me at sturgill.crystal@gmail.com. I would love to meet with you to see if we would be a good match for each other. Since I am just starting off I would be happy to work with any budget. I have coordinated three weddings outside of my own and actually got ordained so I could marry two of my friends a few years ago. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from anyone interested. I live in Apex so weddings in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Durham would be best. :)

I'm Using Phyllis Haynes of Events by Phyllis

She is based out of Virginia, but is very detailed and will work within your budget, not $2-$3 over. She has been very excellent with us in telling us what is and what is not in our budget, and how to create a simialr look in the budget. She is EXCELLENT! and stays on task. When I tend to procrastinate she gives me a jump start. I highly recommend her.
