One of my co-workers and friends passed away yesterday.
I kind of knew it was coming, since he was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in mid December, but I'm still stunned at how fast this all happened. Things are extremely sad around work today, understandably. I feel terrible for his family, for having to deal with this, after watching his health decline so rapidly. At least he's in a better place where he won't be in agony anymore.
