I am looking for a DJ. I have already contacted a few, but I wanted to see who you ladies recommend

    I could also use reco's :). Also, how far out did you guys book your DJs?

    I am using Tony Schwartz and so far I am really happy with him.  I can give a better review in a couple weeks!  I think I booked mine in January for a Sept. wedding.

    We're using Tiger Budbill on the recommendation of our DOCs. He's high energy but not into being the center of attention, which is what we were looking for.

    We used Bamboo Beats and they were so great!  Not your typical cheesy dj.  They will listen to what you ask them to play and they will also keep you running on schedule.  Definititely check them out!!!  http://www.bamboobeats.typepad.com/

    Emilyinpink - we booked our dj a little less than a year before the wedding.  I think he was one of the first vendors we booked!

    Chris Graves, yoursongdj.com. He is great! I booked mine about 12 to 11 months out. At a year out I already found some booked! I was shocked.

    We booked our dj (bamboo beats) about a year out. And they were already booking for our month!
