I'm having my (computer-nerd) FI make a custom wedding website and I was just wondering what everyone else's is like. Just trying to get an idea of the sections, lay out, writing style etc. Also, are you having it printed just on the Save the Dates or the invite too? We're disagreeing on that part..

    Just a heads-up as a computer nerd with a computer-erd software developer husband (we both know XML/style sheets and have made websites from scratch before because apparently at one time or another we thought it was fun...seriously). There is NO need to make a wedding website from scratch.  We did ours through iWeb because we had a Mobile Me account...there are also awesome free sites available at mywedding.com that coordinate with stationery from a lot of major brands.  Good stuff.  They have templates and such you can look at for inspiration if you are dead-set on programming this yourself :)
