  All the Davids Bridal adds have girls in the same color different material.

  I would go into the bridal salon and compare them for yourself.  I think trying to decide based on pictures will be hard.
  
  Also, some colors will make differing fabrics more noticeable.  So if you can, look specifically at the color you have in mind.

  If you are worried about how it will look in the pictures then I would pick a material for them to stick with.  Satin will look totally different than taffeta, and could completely change a color. 
  
  Like a PP said go look in the stores to compare.  I know that at least one of the DB adds are the same material, since those are the dresses my girls picked.

  I agree - I was originally going to have chiffon BM dresses but when I saw a sample in the color I wanted it looked awful. I had a look at the same dress, same color in satin and it looked amazing. The change in fabric totally changed how the color looked.
  
  If you are wanting them to wear the same dress I am sure they wont mind having it in the same fabric?

  Definitely go and look at them for yourself. I personally did not like the look or feel of chiffon, I couldn't imagine my BM wearing it. We did the cotton collection from DB, they have 3-4 different styles depending on what color(s) you choose. I had 2 different colors, but the girls were all able to find a style that fit their body, shape, size.
