Guest list regrets?

Ok so the STDs have been sent...but now I keep thinking of people (mainly friends) that I maybe should have invited. I guess I just don't want friends to be disappointed that they didn't get an invite. I can't invite everyone, but I am wondering if I should extend our list?? Did anyone else have this problem? I tend to feel bad about things really easily, and I hate hurting people's feelings....

    I did at first but I realized I couldn't invite everyone. The biggest reason was the budget. If your budget allows it then I say go for it. In the end I am sure they understand you can't invite everyone.

    No. I don't have many friends to begin with. There are a few people I'd like to take off the list that seem to believe they should be invited. I never said they were but never said they weren't.

    There are a few coworkers that I've become close with in the past few months and would love to invite. I agree with Amber that if your budget allows it, I see no harm in sending them invites too when it comes time to send them.

    Mainly my guest list concerns have been that I sent STD's to people that I am no longet speaking too and I really regret sending them one because I have to send an invite now or I could do the wrong thing etiquette wise and not invite them but never speak to them again haha. 

    My other concern is that FI and I both got new jobs in July and have made some pretty awesome friends that we would love to invite but idk if we can due to budget concerns. We are trying to save the money to add these 6 people but it may be a tough one...we would be at 196 if we added these people.

    I do think of people that I would have liked to invite, and people we invited that I feel like we shouldn't have. So yes, I do have guest list regrets. But as PP's said, budget is a big thing, and hopefully people understand how important it is to stick to it. It's amazing how high the extra costs of adding a few people can be!

    My issue was that there were people we forgot. So I sent those out at a separate time.
