Shania Twain - From This Moment On

Knowing how painful her divorce was, would you use "From This Moment On" as a wedding song?  It's so beautiful, but I'm a little put off by the now divorced couple that I associate the song with.

I can see where you are coming from. I felt the same way about Vince Gill and Amy Grant when they left their spouses to get together.

If you don't want to use it, don't. Its your wedding. There are thousands of other choices out there. What particular dance were you thinking about using it for?

If you took every singer's personal lives into consideration before selecting a song, you would be left with very few songs!!! So many singers & songwriters are divorced, cheaters, rapists, wife beaters, alcoholics, etc..... thats really their business and is not contagious in their music.

If you like it, use it.

It wouldn't bother me. I go with the sound of the music and the lyrics. I actually really like the song.
They didn't have you where I come from...never knew the best was yet to come...
