Aquarium v. Seattle Tennis Club

Has anyone been to a wedding at either or both?  What did you think?  I am particularly curious to know how the food was because food is super-important to FI and I, and I'm very nervous about reserving a place with an exclusive caterer that I can't try ahead of time.  As a point of reference, if we had open catering as an option, we would go with Tom Douglas, Lisa Dupar, or Taste Events.  But the Aquarium and the Tennis Club are our two favorite spots right now, so we might not have the option.

I haven't been to a wedding at either, but I organized a sorority dance at the aquarium in HS and I would've considered getting married there if it was in my budget; its very cool.  I don't know anything about the food.  Sorry.

FIe just had her law prom at the aquarium. While it was nice, I feel like it had lots of rooms and it would be easy for people to wander off. It might not feel like one big happy party.

Still, it has a touch tank and octopus, so, hard to go wrong there.

Thanks, all.  Choosing a vene has been so time consuming. I keep telling myself that things will get better once we know when and where, but I'm not so sure anymore.

I went to a tasting at the Seattle Tennis Club in January and it was very good. Of course some things were better than others. I think they have tastings twice a year so you might be able to go to their next one.
