In need of Reviews.. (Photographers)Bambino and Daniel Michaels

Hello,
I'm meeting with both photographers to get a feel for their work and pricing. Have any of you used Bambino? How is Bambino's pricing/work/experience? Have any of you used Daniel Michaels? How is his pricing and your experience with him?

Thanks!

A friend is using daniel michaels and her e-pics are really great.  No idea on price though.

Another friend used bambino in a wedding i was in and he was great, too, i believe his prices are in the higher range like 3-5K--not positive though.  I think if you don't actually use michael bambino its cheaper.

Both are great. I am using Daniel Michaels' company (our photography is Amanda). He has many different packages to cater to different budgets. I'm pretty sure their packages range from 1.5-3.5k. We absolutely love our engagement pictures and can't wait for our wedding pictures.

My cousin used Michael Bambino and her pictures turned out great. I do think he is a little more expensive. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I talked to both Daniel Michael and Michael Bambino because I was interested in them since they both still use film. Both offer discounts for non Saturday weddings, but Daniel Michael chops a bit more than Bambino does, particularly if you book him over one of his photographers. Bambino's phtography is more expensive overall than Daniel Michael's and you recieve less for your package, but he has beautiful photos.

We ended up booking Daniel Michael himself for our wedding, on a Friday, and they have been an absolute pleasure to work with so far! We live out of town and have tight schedules. They scheduled our e-pics the day after thanksgiving and were super quick! We got a roll of 36 black and white photos from the session and if we disliked any of the photos, they said we could retake them at no charge. We LOVE all of the photos on the roll. They are incredibly flattering of both of us and are very pretty with Sharon Woods in the background.

Daniel Michael is really friendly and very talkative. He got my fiance talking and he's a pretty quiet, shy guy! We can't wait for our wedding in July. We think it will be a great experience with Daniel and our second photographer, hopefully Amanda, who is lovely to talk to and has great work!

Our cost is 3,000 with 2 photographers, their assistant who follows around with a clean up kit making sure no one looks bad, 8-10 hours of coverage, epics, a "wishes board" that people can sign at the wedding with our epics, rights to the images, 1 printed copy of every photo taken in a photo album- at least 600 images I think, but usually many, many more (this can be exchanged for a small fee for the traditional, designed wedding album coffee table book), and thank you note cards I believe with our image on them (but don't quote me on the last one... that's off the top of my head....) He took off I believe $200-$500 for our weding being on a Friday instead of a Saturday, as well as waiving sales tax since we technically live outside of Ohio. It's a great deal!

    Hope this helps!

I just used Bambino for my New Year's Eve wedding.  His pictures are FANTASTIC!  I am thrilled that we went with his studio.  He and his team are wonderful people to work with.  I just got my pictures back and was floored.  You can check them out on his website under extrarordinary weddings, there are a lot of pics from various shoots.  We got so many compliments on how great of a job they did and how much fun they were.  They are a little more expensive than other photographers in the area but honestly you get what you pay for.  My wedding pictures are something that I will use to remember our wedding for the rest of my life.  I truey cannot say enough good things about Bambino.
