My wedding dress hanger arrived today and...

It is PERFECT!!! I love it so much, it looks even better than I thought it would! This is just a bad cell phone pic because my camera is still broken, but you get the idea:

I can't wait to show Ian when he gets home from work! I told him I bought a small, special thing for the wedding but I didn't tell him what it is. I think he's going to love it. If you're thinking at all about buying one, I HIGHLY recommend Blackscrapcat on Etsy. Kelly is SO talented, she was great about keeping me updated on the status, letting me know when it was shipped, etc., and she got it to me a month before I asked for it. @romamor4 Oh, I know, it took me forever to pick one. I feel like I looked at SO many photos of hangers, but I just really liked hers. And I loved the two names! I partially chose it because I don't think I'll be changing my name so it made more sense than the Mrs. Blahblah one, but also partly because I thought it was really cute :-)

@jessa1228 Not at all! With shipping included it was $37 ($27 plus $10 for shipping from Canada). Not super cheap and not the most expensive either, but it really is the best work I've seen. She also has a lot of options, which is nice. You can do the Mrs. Blahblah or the two names like mine, you can choose between different wood colors, and you get to pick which little hanging ornament you want (the heart at the top on mine).

Warning- I was super super excited when mine arrived in the mail and couldn't wait to show FI...BUT his level of "excitement" did not come close to matching mine. lol! I said forget it, I will share my joy with some ladies who will understand.

Hahaha I will prepare myself, I can totally see that happening! For the past week since she shipped it I've been so excited telling him, omg, I can't wait to show you the surprise thing I bought! Then after awhile, I was like, hmm, maybe I should bring the level of excitement down so he's not disappointed. So I was like, well, actually it's not <em>that </em>exciting...haha

But I'm glad you understand!

I love the personalized hangers. I'm making them for all my girls and myself. I can't wait to hang the dresses in my mother's window on their personal hangers and get a picture of them. It's going to be amazing. Yours came out beautiful!
