i got my dress!!

Yesterday I went dress shopping with my Mom and Grandma for the first time.  I was so nervous for days before going, but truthfully I had nothing to be nervous about.  I had a wonderful consultant who was so supportive and helpful.  I tried on a few dresses that I had  printed from the David's Bridal website and tried on a few my consultant suggested.  And this is what I picked, but in white instead of ivory.

Don't mind my face I didn't realize my Mom was taking my picture!  And I can't get it to stand up straight--sorry ladies!

    Thanks ladies!  I plan on shortening the sleeves to 3/4 length and having them be a little more fitted to my arms instead of the bell shape.  I know sleeves aren't exactly "in" but I"m not sleeveless type of girl and I didn't think I should get a dress that wasn't me just because everyoone else is. :)

    Yes, the sleeves are part of jacket. The jacket is what really makes the the whole dress.  The dress itself has small beading on the top but its the jacket that has all the details on it.  My Mom just sent me the picture of myself wearing the white one and I fell in love with it all over again!

    Oh, my gf almost got that dress when she got married earlier this year. It even prettier in person. Hard to capture how pretty it is in a picture. I am sure you will wow everyone in it.
