MN shutdown official marriage license?

We had our wedding last Saturday, but now I'm worried we won't get the official marriage license with the raised seal until the government is up and running again.  We applied for the license in Ramsey county, so I keep hoping that they won't be affected since they are a county department and not state level.

Has anyone else been married since the sate shutdown?  Have you recieved the official license? Thanks!

I had to research it for the application.  Look up your counties information, Washington County for example is up and running for licenses but others are more limited.  I would still send it in as soon as possible but maybe call ahead.

Marriage licenses are done ONLY by the County - your offical one comes from your County NOT the state! :)

I believe the license comes from the county as well.  However, if you just got married on Saturday - I wouldn't start worrying yet about not getting it.   I think it took about 2-3 weeks for ours to arrive.
