Freakin Emotional

I had to vent out to you ladies....Since its getting closer to my wedding, I am totally overwhelmed with emotions because of my mom, my step-dad is not going to be at my wedding, etc. I totally don't have any of my family to talk to about this since they are very unreliable.

I just cry towards my FI and its great for him to comfort me. I want to get this wedding over with so I don't have to deal with this emotions anymore.

    Well then this is a good place to vent!!! This too shall pass... always remember that. But more importantly, think of your wonderful FI and what that day will be like for YOU and HIM... nobody else.

    You'll get through, you'll be okay!

    i'm sorry koolkay, we've dealt with similiar things. i agree with pp, this too shall pass... and this is the hardest time. just remember that after all is said and done, you'll be spending your life with the man you love the most in the world. :)

    Getting married is stressful, and all of the issues it brings up regarding love, family and partnership---along with your own personal history with those things...bubble to the surface and need to be dealt with. It's GREAT  to cry and be emotional and just let go and feel what you are feeling.  Your wedding and marriage will be great! Hang in there.

    when I picked up my wedding dress on weds the girl ask how planning was going I gave her my usual crazed out of my mind look and see agreed she is gettin married two weeks after me. We both decided wedding planning is supposed to be more fun and not as stressful. I feel just like you so I dont really have any words of encouragement either :P
