2 BIG CHECKS FOR ME!!!

Well, my FI & I went down to Cape May on Saturday to finalize our CAKE. CHECK!  Our final flavors are: bottom tier = Chocolate Hazelnut; 2nd tier = raspberry filling w/fresh strawberries; the top tier = choc fudge & custard.  All tiers are yellow cake.  Most delicious!
AND... then I met my Mom & sister down there to look at flowers. My FI was left behind, of course.  lol   Well.... I ordered my flowers!!  CHECK #2  I can't wait to see them!
AND... we already received 1 response for the wedding!! wohoo!!  Let the mailbox stalking begin!! lol

    Jodi, Yes.. I know!!  I can't believe it!  It seems like it was just last month that we booked our venue!!  The time seems to be flying by really fast NOW that the wedding is 2 months away!!!! 
    (I think) we have everything under control now, We will be looking at rings this weekend. And... still have to choose our music for our entrance & 1st dance.  There are a few little things we need to do, but they will be easy.

    My MOH will help w/me centerpieces. If I would have bought them from the florist, that would have doubled by flower budget.  I told her I'll do them myself.

    I hear you, Cathy.  I'm doing DIY centerpieces and ceremony decorations, too, with the help of a very creative aunt.  And, as I may have mentioned before, my bridal flowers are pre-made silk ones.

    Silk is a good way to go... you will have them forever! And.. nowa-days, you usually can't tell if they are real or silk.
    My MOH (sister-in-law) is the creative one.  I am NOT the creative one. I'm going to check out the merchandise at the Christmas Tree Store that everyone is talking about.

    ahh congrats!! That is so great!! Your cake sounds delicious! Things are just coming together so well for you! We actually just picked out our rings this weekend! I know its early, but i like to do things well ahead of time!

    Congrats on the checks! Isn't is such a great feeling when you get things accomplished?!? I went to NY with my mom this weekend and got my veil, hair accessory and the prefect little detail to add to my dress, I am in love with what I found.
