Fashion Face Makeup?

Hi girls,

I've been lurking for a bit and finally have a question to ask. :)

Has anyone heard of/used Fashion Face Makeup?  She is on the preferred vendor list for my venue and when I emailed her was super sweet and probably the most enthusiastic person I've received an email from to date.  She has lots of positive testimonials (and pretty before/after pics) on her website, but I can't find an "outside" review on her anywhere...she's not listed on TK or WeddingWire, and I couldn't make a google search turn up much of anything either...

I live in Fort Worth and will be having my bridals done up here...and will be having my makeup and hair done by a local artist for that and then bringing pictures from it to a consultation (but not a trial) in Houston sometime next spring/summer before my September wedding.  So basically I'll be booking someone in Htown based on reviews, before/after pics on their website, and cost...but not an actual face-to-face meeting.

I like the fact that she seems very personable...she also said she'd try to match or beat other prices if she comes out on the high side...I think I'm just stuck on the fact that she seems so nice, I don't want to give up on her!

Anything y'all know about her would be super helpful...thank you!

    I found a facebook page if that helps....you can see more pics and what people are commenting on the page.  They are a part of A&A video productions.  Hope that helps!  Also, I saw a coupon during my search saying that you can get a free trial with them.

    It's interesting...same 3 comments on every post...kind of weird.

    Those aren't the same comments repeated over and over.....those are the comments from that whole album "before and after" and when you post pictures from that album it keeps showing the comments.  Facebook is weird sometimes.  They seem legit and I think the only reason you don't see more feedback from other people is because the company is fairly new.  The individual artists might have been around for a while, but Fashion Face must be new.  Anyway if I were you i'd take advantage of that free trial and then make your decision.  You really never know until you try them out yourself.  Good luck!

    Ohhhhhhh that makes sense.  Haha I can't keep up with the way Facebook does stuff!

    I do remember seeing that coupon for a free trial...she had said in her email that their current special was $75 hair/$75 makeup trials but maybe if I can come up with the coupon she'll honor it...we'll see.  I'll be home around Christmas so maybe I can meet with her then.

    I really appreciate your help. :) I don't have many vendors to pick because my venue is pretty all-inclusive, so this is one of the first I've had to make a choice on!  It's not easy...

    You're totally welcome!  I'm still looking around for vendors myself so I understand how tough it can be.  Here is the link to the coupon and on another page it said it was added a couple of days ago so I'm pretty sure she'll honor it.

    Hi, I have actually used Fashion Face for a portrait session I recently had and loved everything about them. I am using them for my wedding next year and can't wait for another session with them.They are a new company, but act as if they've been in the industry forever. If you are looking for a makeup or hair artist that knows what they are talking about and proves it, Fashion Face can certainly live up to that expectation. Not only are they good at what they do, the girl that answers the phone is very nice & helpful. The first thing I noticed is how she treated every client with respect and patience whether she was taking a phone call or meeting the client in person. If you decide to hire Fashion Face, you are going to be in good hands! I see this company going very far in the industry :) Hope this helps in your search!
