Wedding dress is here!

I just got an email saying my wedding dress came in! I ordered on 8/24 and was told it wouldn't be here until 10/19. I'm going to try it on Friday. Just can't believe it is already here! Did anyone else get their dress really quick like that?

    Wow, that is really fast. My dress took 5 months to get here.

    Congrats and hope your first fitting goes great!

    Is it from David's Bridal?  They took way less time than they quoted for my MOH's dress and for a wedding dress a friend of mine ordered.

    It is from DB, apparently they had a few at the warehouse. It's Oleg Cassini style CRL277. Wedding isn't until 10/20/2012 so I wont be doing alterations until next spring sometime, but I'm excited to have one check done.

    My dress arrived in about 30 days. Which seemed super fast!!

    My dress arrived in 3 weeks.

    If your wedding is in October you should start your alterations no earlier than July/August.  My wedding was August 27th and my first alteration fitting was July 10th.  You shouldn't need 6 months of fittings.

    My dress was supposed to take 6 months, and only took 3 weeks!

    They always say its going to take months to get your dress...its so you feel pressured to buy it. I bought 2 dresses and they bothe came in less than half the time they estimated. Just a trick of the trade.

    We're dress twins.  Mine only took about a month also when they said it would take 2 months.  my wedding is august 2012, i'm thinking june is a good time to start the fitting

    Agreed. I got my alterations started on 8/16 for my 10/14 wedding. Got my dress back on 9/8
