Finally... THE Dress.

I think I found my dress. Well, I bought it, so it is mine but now that I've had it at home for a week, I'm starting to panic and think I might have found something better. My wedding is June 25th so I have to buy off the rack and I don't really have time to look for another. Has anyone else had buyer's remorse after buying your dress... is it normal to feel this way?

I feel so indecisive!!

    Pretty!!

But I'm totally with ya. I bought one online and once I got it home for a while I decided I didn't "love it". Decided to go and try a bunch on and so glad I did! I learned that it is true what they say about the dress.. when you try the right on one, you'll just know it.

It's a BEAUTIFUL dress! But I know what you're talking about.  I've had my dress for a while & I've seen a TON of dresses I've wanted to buy since.  Then I put my dress on  & things are all good Wink

If you do happen to change your mind & go as far as purchasing another dress, look on the upside - you have something to change into for the reception!! LOL

    Good Luck!

I have been dragging me feet on ordering me dress and this is exactly why. I can be soooooo indecisive sometimes and I am worried about this. I need to order my dress by next month and I'm feelign the dress pressure. It seems like a lot fo ladies get lucky with off the rack picks, I guess I'm not that lucky.

I think the dress is gorgeous!

To be honest, if I heard a bride say that she didn't think about a different dress after having bought the dress she would wear are her wedding, I'd say she's lying. I definitely had second thoughts...and thirds, and fourths. The best thing for me to do was to stop looking, and continually remind myself as to why I had picked my dress in the first place!

    I love your dress!

I never actively looked for a second dress after I bought mine, but I would still search different websites and tell myself it was to be sure that my dress was the one haha. I did the same thing when we bought our house. I would search online to remind myself how cool my house was! I'm weird!

But, to get over looking for other dresses, I would try my dress on, and I would remember how much I loved it. So no, you are not alone!

Thanks for all the support ladies... it's so nice to know I'm not alone on this. I think my issue is that I don't really like it hanging up (it reminds me of a nightgown!) - it was the last dress I tried on for that very reason. But once I had it on, it is the only one out of the 50+ that made me choke up and think "this is *the* dress." It makes me look like I have boobs, which I have none of (so that's always good) and it felt like old hollywood glam, which I loved. I didn't want the traditional style dress and it fits the bill. The downside is that the material is sooo not forgiving and I have a ponch from a c-section (ok and mcdonalds and cookies) that it will show if I don't keep at the gym and stay away from said mcdonalds and those sweet, sweet cookies.

    SPANKS, anyone??

I think its very pretty!  Like PP's said I've had second thoughts about my dress too, but I look at the pics with it on and love it again!  So, don't worry you aren't alone. :)

Your dress is gorgeous!  Very 40s glam.  I totally had second and third and fourth thoughts too but I love mine again.
