We have only 3 days until September starts.... which means I have only 3 days until my (and other 9/1 brides') wedding!!!!!!

How's everyone doing? What checks do you have left to do? What did you accomplish in August?

Accomplished in August:
- Finish escort card display
- Create table number signs
- Finish & order guest book
- Print & cut menus
- Update budget
- Print & assemble activity books
- Do wine & beer tasting - make selections
- Send payments due August 15th
- Order floating lanterns
- Contact bus company, have FIL send check to pay for shuttle
- Have MIL put deposit down for rehearsal dinner
- Meet with videographer (Aug 10th)
- Track down all missing RSVPs
- Glue lace to jars
- Glue lace to fishbowl for cardbox
- Finalize program design - print & assemble
- Make & print label for card bowl
- Make sure FI's uniform and suit fit
- Finalize details for rehearsal dinner
- Finalize details for day-after barbecue
- Give final number to caterer & rental company (for chairs)
- Create seating chart
- Speak with & confirm all wedding vendors - explain timeline, give them DOC's phone #
- Create detailed itemized list of where things go, vendors & contact info, timeline to DOC
- Buy & assemble welcome bags
- Buy & assemble bathroom basket
- Assemble baskets for programs / activity books / toss cones
- Design & print signs for drinks / seating / guest book / favors / toss cones
- Assemble items for children's room
- Confirm babysitters / dogsitters
- Print escort cards & assemble escort card display
- Finalize honeymoon plans
- Get engagement ring re-dipped
- Final hair color appointment

Still to Do:
- Write thank you notes for all gifts received to this point
- Buy champagne for Anniversary Dance
- Give seating diagram to caterers for ceremony
- Buy, print & assemble cheat sheet for ceremony officiant, readers
- Eyebrow wax, mani/pedi
- Finish printing & iron on logos to t-shirts for kickball game
- Write card for FI to open on wedding day
- Pack for wedding weekend (rehearsal dinner, getting ready, wedding, day-after kickball game, following day of relaxation with FI at B&B)
- Confirm rehearsal dinner schedule with restaurant
- Wrap gifts for attendants
- Print reserved seats
- Print rest of t-shirt logos
- Finish assembling escort cards
- Write thank you card to parents
- Attend rehearsal dinner
- Get MARRIED!

I don't have a list, but I think everything is done and ready to go. This week is going so super slow. I'm working today and tomorrow and all I can concentrate on is the clock and the Knot (obviously). I get so excited when I sign on and see "3 days to go!"

I'm 17 days out and my list is too long and overwhelming. I'm tackling it bit by bit every night.

Yay! I'm finally in the teens! Whehooo!!

Yesterday I ....

-had my hair and makeup trial and LOVED it and the place that will be doing it on the day of.

-Met with the florist to firm things up.

-Booked our rehearsal dinner.

Still left to do....

-Make final calls to non RSVP's (today was our return date)

-Figure out gifts for maid of honor and best man

-Assemble favors

-Spraypaint birdcage

-Write out escort cards

-Assemble centerpieces

-Pack "day of" stuff

-Assemble bathroom kit w/toiletries

-Pack for honeymoon (Whohoooo!!!)

-Write toast

-Write mini-vows (we're each saying something personal to eachother in between vows)

-Ummmm......breathe!!!

To dos:
Assemble my Day-of kit - anyone else doing this? if so what did you put in?
Pay Final Invoice at Venue
Decorate Card Box - suggestions welcome
Make a list of family photos we want
Script for the MC
Meet with the Pastor
Get my engagement ring re-dipped so it looks brand new!
Finish seating board
Let the florist know what color ribbons to put on the corsages - this will happen today!
Make timelines for Everyone who needs one
Pack for the honeymoon
Assemble the items to go in our time capsule (instead of a unity candle/sand ceremony)
Write a love letter to go in said time capsule

However, this weekend is a weekend OFF! My girl friends are taking me to Montreal for my Bachelorette! I can't wait!

Woohoo, congrats fellow September 1 ladies!

Still to do:
- Drop off things to my venue (pictures to display, favors, toasting flutes, final payment)
- Drop off OOT/welcome bags to our hotel
- PIck up ice cream cookie sandwiches and drop them at our RD venue
- Write thank you note to parents
- Finish writing vows!
- Write card for FH to open day of
- Pack up FH's bag of goodies for the day of
- Pack! (RD, wedding necesseties, day after breakfast)
- Pack up my puppy (we are boarding him for the weekend)

So excited!!

All I have left to do is meet the the reception hall lady tonight, get my nails done tomorrow, wrap the cake pops, pick up best man and bridesmaid from the airport tomorrow night and then Friday is rehersal!

Enjoy the weekend soon-to-be married ladies!

In the next 9 days we have to:

- finish escort cards

- finish table name cards

- make little signs for guest book table, etc

- finalize seating chart and catering numbers

- get massages with FI on Sunday! (along with my pre-honeymoon waxing)

- get my manicure/ pedicure

- write cards for bridesmaids and to FI

- pack for honeymoon

- put together list of must have photos
