Mobile Hair/Make-up in the GTA

Hey Everyone,

I was looking for a little help!  Does anyone know of a mobile hair/make-up artist for a good price?  I heard about blushpretty but I see the fee is $160.00 per person.  I was hoping for someone under $130.00 (if that is even possible).  We will be right downtown (on the esplanade).  Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to a bridal show and met the girls that do mobile hair and makeup and I am considering going with them. They seemed to have really good prices and really listened to what you said. I liked their package options too... Im not someone who gets really done up or wears makuep so all I really want is my hair pinned and I think I want my BM to have their hair down so it won't cost too much for me.

    Here's their website:

    Hopefully it helps!

Hey, there was another company at the Bridal Show - Unbridaled Images. They seemed pretty nice and have reasonable rates:

For the bride it is $135 hair and makeup, for bridesmaids it ranges from $90-100 per person, depending on the number of people in the bridal party. If you're interested, their website is www.unbridledimages.ca

Just a bit of info, Blush Pretty is worth every penny! I had Stephanie do my hair+makeup for our engagement shoot and it looked amazing. I was really happy with it. Her and her other girls will be doing it for my wedding as well.

For hair I'm using BLO.  They have locations all across the city. GREAT prices (BMs can get their hair done starting at $33 maxing at $55) They also come to your house for no extra charge!

For Make Up I booked an artist just outside of the city.  $65 per/person but, from what I'd been looking at it was a fairly standard price.  If you want her details PM me.

    Good luck!

    Hey ladies,

not to hijack the thread but I need your opinion on this one. One of BMs recommended me a makeup artist. Apparently this guy did a girl's wedding in which she attended. She said the makeup was really nice. The guy charges $50 pp and he is willing to stay all day for touch ups for this price. I am skeptical about this because that is really cheap.

The other thing is I would have to feed him and make room for him at the reception but I I don't want to do this as I already have 4 vendors to feed as well. I also don't want to look like a diva having someone touch up my make up every couple of hours or so.

Is this deal weird ore what?

It does seem like a really low price compared to average, but maybe he's just starting out and looking to build a client base and get noticed?

Yeah maybe but I just want to make sure that the make up is going to look nice especially in pictures.

This is exactly why I came on this board tonight! I am looking for a mobile hair dresser, as I have my makeup person already!

Any other people who just do hair?

    Thanks :)

Lots of MAC artists will travel - I used one for my wedding, but had my hair done at a salon.  If anyone needs a MUA or salon recommendation, just ask!  I know that my stylist does travel from time to time for weddings.

Mine charged $65 per girl plus lashes if you wanted them (which are $10 from MAC).

The make up artist I'm using is a former MAC employees who's now out on her own. Her make up work is fabulous (she's done a few weddings I've seen the pictures of through friends) She is $65/person.  She can do up to 8 women on her own.  Let me know if you want her contact information.
