Just wondering if y'all could throw out some ideas for gifts for my bridesmaids and my maid of honor? I have 5 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Well, FI is pretty good at making jewelry so he's making a unique necklace for my 2 BMs and my MOH. That way they all get something this is similar but is also unique to them and is not very expensive. I'm also going to take BMs, MOH, my mom and FMIL out a day or two before the wedding for mani pedis as a relax and thank you time. Scoping out groupon deals to save too.
I would just shop for them like it's their birthday or Christmas. Personally, I got all my girls Coach wristlets (the outlet was having a stellar sale) and will put a gift card to their favorite store inside. My sister crocheted us all a blanket when she got married. I know some girls do totes, some girls do personalized wine glasses with a bottle of wine, and someone I know did a personalized stationary kit with everything ordered from Vistaprint.
I wouldn't get them jewelry, bags, etc. to use for the wedding b/c to me that's not really a gift so much as you saying, "In addition to the dress I made you buy, you need to wear this."

<div> </div><div>I don't know if this has to do with me, but to clarify, its not for them to wear at the wedding unless they want to. Its just going to unique to each girl. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div>

No, it doesn't! I wasn't trying to call anyone out - I was just stating my opinion on that. Sorry - I can see how you'd read it that way! :-/ Besides, you're throwing in mani/pedis - no way can I knock that! ;-)
I bought my girl's personalized robes with their names on them! They can be comfy while getting their hair and makeup done the day of my wedding and it doesnt say "bridesmaid" or anything so they can def wear it again!!
Okay y'all.... I am having 3 bridesmaids and a MAN Of Honor... What do I get him? He has been my best friend for years and I want it to go with the gifts I am giving my bridesmaids (Pearls and cookies).
May your days be full...
Your nights be fun...
Your heart be light...
And your battles won!
