Ahh, so close! You're almost married! YAY!

    All week: entertain the kidlings

Tuesday: New PT/OT schedule for summer

Wednesday: new Speech therapy schedule for summer

Friday/Saturday: Pack stuff for family reunion

Sunday-next Wednesday: Fr. Family Reunion at Disney World (at which I will probably only see my children for feeding and sleeping times, because we have two branches of the family who live out of town and are probably going to steal them away from me the entire 4 days we're up there.)

Yay! It's wedding week for DFW, so exciting! :)

This week I have a few appointments, knitting class and dinner with my friend. Might run a 5k on Friday night with another friend. Saturday is my college roommate's wedding. Then Father's Day on Sunday.

I am le tired thinking of it all. This past weekend was hectic, too, so it feels like I didn't have a break.

Have a GREAT week, DFW! Savor the moment...

This week: finish my address spreadsheet, get postage for invitations, and go home Thursday night--my mom just got back to Pakistan so super excited to go see my wedding dress and other clothes (I ordered everything there a few months ago but haven't seen the finished product).

    MUST get done this week:

On Saturday is the Swedish Midsummer Fair, and I am in charge of food, so that will be most of my spare time this week.

Waxing... also important before the fair, in case it warms up enough for swimming, which it hasn't yet.

Buying new jeans.  I just did laundry (we don't have indoor laundry, so yes, it's a huge deal to me), and this past weekend was the County Fair, at which I wore my favorite most comfortable jeans while handling goats.  I really need more jeans.

On going projects:  cleaning my parents house out and the Green Card application.  Both very un-fun but important.

DFW -- So exciting!  Remember not to worry about details as you get close... it will turn out great no matter what!

CONGRATS DFW!!! So exciting! I'll be joining the "other side" next week!
Despite all my recent bouts of sickness, I got a TON of wedding stuff done yesterday thanks to my 8 year old niece!! She's an angel and helped me refresh all my DIY projects, organize all the stuff that has to be dropped off to the reception hall, etc. She even helped me confirm the seating chart and alphabetized the table cards.

    This week:
M - work, then nurse FI back to health (i passed my germs onto him :( ) and finalize vendor loading/unloading times at reception site; finalize and distribute timeline to family
T- finalize vendor timeline and send out list of things to do to friends/family/waitstaff; have dinner with relatives arriving from India
W- get seating chart printed, dance practice
Th - dance practice; go on last "date" with FI - we're going to go to the place we first met.
Fri - pack for wedding week; second reception on West Coast & honeymoon....

    T - 12 days :)

Glad your feeling better neetu. BTW, are you guys using a horse for the baraat? Does Boston allow them and if you're using one, how did you arrange it?

  • edited December 2011
As far as I know, you can use horses for baraats in MA.  however, we are not opting for that. FI has a bit of hesitation about horses (don't know why exactly), so we originally were scheduled to use a classic car. unfortunately, the vendor double-booked reservations and ended up giving the car to the other client... ugh.  So now, FI rented a luxury car instead. It works out better finances-wise as his groomsmen who are flying in from out of town can use the car from thursday on and then he can use it in the baraat.  personally, i would have loved the classic car entrance, but there just aren't a lot of vendors in the area who rent out classics. what about you dr.girl?

Still debating...FI likes the idea of a horse or a fun car, so we'll see! I'lll probably ask my decorator about the horse.
