This place is in Worcester, worth the 45 minute drive. Awesome people and they sell the dresses cheap, these are brand new dresses that they order you (i thought they were going to be samples or something).

there are so many! what is your price range, that is an important factor, you don't want to go to a salon that carries dresses out of your price range!
I just had a great experience at Bride's Choice in Waltham - funny, because I had read a bunch of bad reviews but after my experience there, I feel compelled to chime in and say how happy I have been (so far!!). I thought they had the best selection by far and the only hard part was deciding between so many great ones. Also, I thought Zee (the owner) was very sweet.
I didn't really love Allure Bridal in Westwood - seemed very business like and there was not one dress there that I got excited about.
Manhattan Bridal in Waltham was ok - the owner was very nice (I think her name was Patty?) but the selection seemed limited.
I am also a bride on a short timetable, ordering a dress now for a Feb wedding...so that was a factor in all the places I visited. I felt the most confident and had the best experience at Bride's Choice. Good luck!
I bought mine at Bridal and Gift at Shear Style. In Attleboro.
They were great with helping me try on the dresses and picking out suggestions. My only qualm was that they didn't stick to my price range so I ended up falling in love (and getting) a dress that was way out of my price range. But it ended up being alright.
My bridesmaids and I are going there on saturday because they offer a lot of discounts (if you have 6 or more bridesmaids they get 10% off their dresses) as well as a vacation deal that you can get if all of your bridesmaids get their dresses there.

I got my dress at Vows. There was no pressure, I could try on as many dresses as I wanted, and the staff was really sweet.

They are owned by David's Bridal and will never go out of biz and leave you hanging.
