My graphic designer buddy designed these invites for us- and I'm so flipping happy!! (was a little nervous b/c Jeff is big on really goofy stuff, like penis rockets and monsters lol) WOOT!!

Also discovered that Chris really wants to do STDs............ except he's about 5 months late for telling me! lol, oh well! The STD card will be used as our RSVP instead, I think.

Not really vintage/ retro, but so flipping cute I had to share :)





One question-  what do you think about the invites not matching the colors we're using? Not a big deal, right? We're using orange, gray and white. But the invites will not be brought along and compared to the decor lol, so I kind of think this niggling thought I have that they don't match is pretty stupid....... right? ehhhh.

    I love it!  It really sets a tone for a fun wedding (although penis rockets would have worked for that too- haha)  I love the bird on your save the dates - very cute!

    I don't think it's a big deal about the colors - nobody is going to compare!

    Aww they're so adorable!! I absolutely love that style invite. It def. sets a fun tone for your wedding.

    I don't think it matters if they're not in your 'colors'. I actually hate having designated colors to stick to bec. a lot of things I like or on sale are rarely in my 'colors'. Ugh!

    i agree very very cute! If I got that in the mail I would be very excited to go :) And your right colors dont matter but it would defiantly bug me personally a little. I could defiantly get over it though for those beauties

    Those are so fun! 
    I don't think the color thing is a big deal.

    (ps-orange/gray is one of my favorite color combinations)

    I was totally flipping out originally that our invitations didn't match our wedding colors... haha! But then FI reminded me that not EVERYTHING has to be those colors. If you're happy with them, then that's what matters. They're adorable. [:

    +1 to not worrying about matching the wedding colors. I really like the feel of the artwork! The font's a little wide if you're specifically going for a vintage-y feel on that, but otherwise it's fantastic!

    1st year anniversary in Victoria with a killer whale topiary!
