Excited about fair food!

So, with exhibiting livestock at fairs I get a lot of fair food.  I have to live at each fair for a few days and love it.  I actually lose weight in the winter and gain it in the summer from all the delicious fair food.  Anyway, I'm exhibiting at the Iowa State Fair this weekend and am SOOO excited about the amazing pork tenderloin down there!  Seriously, I don't know what they do to pigs down there, but it's amazing!

Anyway having been to so many fairs I get excited about certain foods at each fair.  Minnesota State has the biggest selection of food of all the fairs I've gotten to go to.  I was just wondering who else gets excited about all the food at fairs, and what is your favorite food to get at the fair?

    Deep fried oreos. And fair corn dogs. and fair lemonade. and funnel cakes. and fair pizza! and burgers! omg i LOVE fair food toooooo!

    ETA: and nachos. and anything with nacho cheese on it

    I love getting Gyros, Zypoles (fried dough balls) and 4H Club milkshakes.  I haven't been to the fair in a few years though.  It is really expensive.  Its $15 just to get in.  Things are probably going to be moreexpensive this year since they had to shut down for 2 of thier busiest days because of a hurricane.

    Iowan here with a shout out to the Iowa State Fair! I'm not sure I'll make it this year but FIs sister helps with the cattle show so maybe we'll stop out when she's there for that. I LOVE funnel cakes! I heard they are supposed to have a German chocolate funnel cake this year so if I go I'll have to find that.

    If you are there this weekend and find such a thing you will need to tell me where it is!  Seriously come to swine barn, find Pair-A-Does dairy goats and tell me where it is! lol!

    I love fair food! Unforunately our favorite fair is the same weekend I have a whole lot of stuff going on and won't be able to make it. :-(

    We have more carnivals than fairs in my part of the world, but I love the food. Nothing like a funnel cake!

    we have an agricultural fair that ahs turned into more of a carnival...boo. i don't go anymore but i always enjoyed fair fudge.

    my brother loves the "walking taco" which is bascially chili with sour cream layered insdie a bag of chips.

    Our fair doesn't come around til October..it'll be right before the wedding! Its usually like the 8th thru 15th...GA state fair is awesome but I'm not a foodie when I go..I love the rides! I do love me a good funnel cake though!

    I'm a Nebraskan, but I have to give another shout out to the Iowa State Fair, it really is awesome, and the food is amazing.  I live about 20 miles from the Nebraska State Fair, and they have great food too, but always look forward to visiting relatives in Ankeny and then going to the fair!

    I live in Chicago...but my family has always gone to the Wisconsin State Fair.   I look forward to those cream puffs ALL YEAR!

    I grew up in 4H.  Used to LOVE gyros (vegetarian now).  but I love fair fries, lemon shakes, dairy bar milkshakes, fried cheese on a stick, mmmmm the list could go on and on.  I live 90 miles from my hometown and I still go home every summer just to go to the fair <3

    I know everyone is talking about county and state fairs. Maryland's are ok.... but I love going to the Md. Rennaissance festival every year and I'm one of the geeks that actually dress up. Laughing The food is great and the shows are awesome. I don't have a major sweet tooth, but I love the chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick!
