Accountability

Today I want to focus a little more on the good things thus far on this journey! Anyone hit any goals? What goals did you hit?

I have lost 3lbs since Mon last week, which is great for me, especially with all the cheating hahaha

Today's inspiration picture is to help us keep things in perspective and realize what we've actually accomplished:

  • EUW!  I didn't weigh this morning, I was afraid to.  I forgot to before showering and I didn't want my wet hair to mess up the number.

    I'm really interested in this "Wrap Yourself Slim" thing a friend of mine is now selling.  Has anyone heard of it?  wrapyourselfslimwithscotta.myitworks.com  I would like to go to one of her parties and see exactly how it works and then decide if I want to sell it. I would love to get rid of this "stubborn belly fat" that I've had since high school.  Even when I was 120 pounds, I still had a belly!

  • I'm not sure if my scale is broken or what.  Everyday I weigh in before I hop in the shower.  Everyday it comes in at or about 149.6.  I'm glad to see it didn't go up after Super Bowl Sunday and all the junk I ate but I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't go down even when I eat right and exercise.  My physical therapist kicked my behind last night, quite literally, all the workouts were working my gluts and hamstrings.  I'm not sore today, so that's a plus too!

  • Wow, that pic definitely puts things in perspective!

    The main goal that I have kept is going to the gym almost everyday during the week and continuing to run.  A goal that I am semi still contemplating is running a half marathon in May.  I'm not sure about it though.  I might try a fairly long run this coming weekend and feel it out from there.  I will definitely be running the 7.1 race this summer if they ask me back!
  • we went to the gym like usual yesterday. today we won't be going because we are taking Dan's car in to be worked on. driving there + back will eat up about an hour of time, plus then i won't be home to cook dinner. soo yeah.

    i still don't know what i'm doing wrong. i'm up 2.5 pounds from when we started doing these accountability things. i know it's probably muscle but i'm anxious to start actually losing fat instead of just gaining muscle weight. and i've actually been eating all my meals and stuff too, so my metabolism should hopefully be normalizing.. ugh.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

    I've always found that I weigh less after a shower. 
  • I haven't hit any goals, but I also did cheat last night.  I had pizza for dinner last night because my braces are being put on Thursday, morning.  Yuck!  Almost 2 months late.  I made him swear to god that they'll be off a month before the wedding.
  • I lost 14# when I got my braces.

    Thank you for posting that, Britt, I really needed it. My first week I only lost 1 lb. and it was sort of upsetting. This makes me more motivated to work hard.

    I've done terribly today. I hate it when people bring treats into work. They are my worst temptation. 
  • Hey, everyone.. I hope u guys are eating healthy and excising. For me I been doing great. I have lost 2 lbs in  a week and lost 5 inches on my body. I have been exercising between 3 to 5 days a week. I bough the dvds for Zumba and its working. I am cutting back on soda but lately I been surpurging lately. I have been using myfitnesspal.com to make sure I dont go over my calories which I havent and lower my sodium intake.
