where to get dress altered in fox valley area

I recently purchased a dress while visiting a friend in Minneapolis.  I bought the dress off the rack so it needs some alteration.  The sales people assured me that any seamstress can do the work and I would be better off taking it home and finding someone nearby to do the alterations.  Anyone have a seamstress they trust in the appleton/oshkosh/green bay area?

    Im not sure the cost but you could take it to Bridal Event on Richmond Street or in Little Chute there is a place called Stiches that does a good job

    Honestly I don't like the job that stitches did on a bridesmaid gown I had them do, but I took my wedding dress to exclusive alterations in green bay. They are reasonable and very nice to work with...I don't know the outcome yet, but the bridal salon that I got my dress from highly recommended them.

    I bought my dress at Bridal Event in Appleton and had it altered there. They did a nice job.
