Photography question

Hey ladies and I know you guys give great advice so here I go.
I'm in the process of looking for photographer and I want to know what is the average amount of time do you need a photography like ideally I would like two photogs and I'm thinking for 8hrs is that to much time? Ps I'm not doing a grand exit or nothing like that

Thanks girlies :

Re: Photography question

  • 8 hours is about right if you want your photogs there when you begin getting dressed. I have my photogs for 9 hours and they will be there prior to my ceremony to get us gettting dressed, me putting on my garter, etc. Even if you aren't doing a grand exit they could still take shots of you and your hubby leaving your reception surrounded by your guests!
  • Also is it necessary to have two... I would like two but I'm not sure

<div>I am having two..I think its a great option. One will be with me while I get dressed and the other will be with Bae as he gets dressed. Also during the ceremony when you walk in one could be taking shots of you walking in through the doors and another one could be behind you and your escort as yall walk in catching everyone looking at you!</div>
  • Typically 6-8hrs is the norm. Case gave good points especially if you want bride and groom prep..

  • if it's not gonna mess with the budget too much, i'm nodding enthusiastically at two.   as the kisses pointed out one does bride the other groom prep, alternate shots and - if you have one shutterbug, not a thing is wrong with that, but at some point during the day, they'll need to eat.  this is where you'll be happy you have a second dude.
  • I think two is actually a must. seeing the different angles and moments they are able to capture together makes all of the difference. Also i would get them for and hour beyond what you've allocated for your wedding. If anything is slighty late (and it will be) you dont want to be stressed about them leaving
