Re: Glee's Becky: It's Not Acceptable

  • Did they play that during Glee last night?  I watched it on DVR this morning and remember seeing the 2 of them sitting in those chairs while I was fast forwarding.  I was too lazy to rewind though.

    I agree that it's a great commercial.

  • Stupid work blocks youtube :(  I love Becky.  Did you watch last night, Mrs B?
  • Not sure - I missed last night's episode.

  • I think they played it during AI. It's definitely a resounding message. I saw the middle part while FFing, and actually rewound back to the beginning.

  • I saw them sitting in the chairs sometime during the episode.

Mrs.B are you going to watch it still?  Or can we talk about the episode?

  • I didn't see that last night.

I didn't love last night's episode as the season finale.  It was just ok.

How about Mercedes and Troutylips hooking up on the d/l?  Innnnteresting.

  • Yeah I wasn't that impressed either Kiki.

I definitely saw the Mercedes/Sam thing happening though, starting at prom.  Then if you saw when they were all hugging on stage after the performance, you could see him walk to the other side of the group to get to her to hug her.

  • Oblivious, party of 1.

Kurt and Blaine are so cute.  The whole 'I love you' moment was adorable.  Actually, Blaine is just effing HOT.

  • Yes to all the Mercedes/TM comments. No reason for it to be on the DL! I'd much rather explore their relationship than STUPID Finn and Rachel AGAIN. I do. not. care.

I was underwhelemd as a whole. I didn't enjoy Shue's interactions with Goolsby (mostly because of Goolsby).

I thought it was stupid that they all thought they'd missed the top 10 because of the kiss. They had no way to know that.
  • The Blaine and Kurt moment and the Rachel and Kurt moments fel the most real to me last night. The Finn/Rachel/Quinn stuff just doesn't do it for me.

Also, Kurt was rocking a pouf last night.
  • Oh, you know what else annoyed me?

Shue deciding in half a hot second that he wasn't going to go to Broadway.  Like, why can't he just go for the summer?  Um, he's got the time off, right?  I don't get it.

ALSO- I was assuming it was the end of the school year, so why were they all dressed like it was Fall?  I'm SO CONFUSED.

  • Yeah I thought the kiss reasoning was lame too.  But it looked like they were all over it by the end.

I hope they don't make Brittney and Santana a couple.

Also, did anyone happen to watch the Oprah surprise special?  I had it DVRed, and Kirsten Chenowith (April Rhodes) was one of the surprises, and she also sang the same song from Glee from Wicked, "My life is changed for the Good" or whatever the actual name of it is.  It just kinda seems like too much of a coincidence to me.

  • Speaking of attire, they've made Quinn wear wedges with ankle socks for about the past month, and I want to punch a baby everytime I see that, and then last night they did it to all the girls for their show outfits. THAT ISN'T CUTE!!

I always think Shue is dumb, so his "I love the kids too much to realize my own dream" is right on par with his usual shenanigans.

I thougth the Rachel/ Patti LuPone moment was very appropriate. The only person that would make Rach more verklempt would be Babs herself.

The episode was so hit and miss!!

<div>This.  OMG this times a million.  For a while now Quinn has been dressing horribly.  For being "the popular girl" as she called herself last night, I don't know anyone high school girl that would dress like that.  I think Rachel dresses better than her now.  </div>

  • Rachel had some seriously cute outfits last night.

And uh, are you telling me that Finn and Rachel both happened to bring formal wear with them?  Does Finn take a suit and tie everywhere he goes?
    Lilypie First Birthday tickers
  • I loved Rachel's coat in the opening scene.

  • The only thing that REALLY bothers me is how quickly everyone gets over break ups on that show.  In the final scene, Quinn walked up to Finn and Rachel as they walked into the choir room and, like, took Finn's arm to welcome them, or some crap.  Dude.  This is HIGH SCHOOL, and Quinn has only slapped Rachel once.  I get that it's a musical, but the random bursts into song in the hallways are more realistic than how maturely these kids deal with break ups.

Also, I love Rachel and Finn.  Love.  And I want Kurt to be a wee bit older so my crush seems slightly more appropriate.  That kid's face is perfect.
  • This whole season has been pretty underwhelming and dissappointing.  I didn't watch Glee until a few months ago, I watched all of season 1 in like 2 weeks and then caught up on season 2.  Especially watching them back to back like that, this season was a major let-down.
