Guess who's moving in with the in-laws next month?! DH and I! I'm excited that we will have the opportunity to save so much money to help us prep for the house. I'm also freaking out because A) we have to start packing and June is already a busy month for us and B) because we are going from 1100 square feet to a bedroom. Its a tad overwhelming but I know it will benefit us in the long run!

    99% of our stuff will be going into storage. The only thing we will take with us is our TV, clothes and the dog's stuff. We might switch our bed for the one that is already in the bedroom but I dont know yet. I've got to wrap my head around everything first!

    All I can say is I will be none to happy if for some reason we dont get a final approval on the mortgage!

    Good luck moving into your inlaws. I know it will be hard to go from a big space to a bedroom, but I am sure it will all be worth it in the end. How long will you be living with the inlaws? When will you find out  about the mortgage?

    I am trying to convince Anthony we should ask his parents to move in with them just for the summer so we can save money for an apartment in his hometown after having to pay $1,300 to break the lease we are in now. He says absolutely not. We'll see what happens.

    We will be staying with them for about 5 months. I have no idea when we will get final approval on the mortgage. The house wont be finished until November so I'm not sure how pressured my loan officer feels to make it happen quickly. I'll have to ask him next time I talk to him.

    Wow, good luck with the space.  I'm sure you'll figure it all out.  How very exciting about your house though.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes quickly.  :)
