  Happy Valentine's day!
  We got lots of WR stuff done this weekend - which felt wonderful! We had dinner on Friday night at Silvioni's where we have decided to have our rehearsal dinner. The food was good and the manager was super nice there, so we pulled the trigger and put down our deposit yesterday!
  We also started our registry on Friday at Macy's, then did the big registry on Saturday at BBB, and finished up on Sunday at Target. We had a blast registering!! I loved the lady at BBB who was our "consultant". She was really knowledgeable and not pushy at all! It really was a great experience.
  Yesterday we also went to Men's Warehouse were DF picked out the tuxes for his guys and got his measurements done! So lots of good things off our list!
  
  

  Non WR - Saturday night we celebrated Valentine's day (and our engagement anniversary) at Cioppino's - which was SUPER yummy! So all in all - a wonderful weekend!
  
  

  Tonight we are just making dinner and spending some time together
  
  

  G - ya for the fitting! can't wait to hear about it! Also - i really like Claudagh. We've eaten there several times with FI's family. Glad you had a nice trip to the burgh!!

  Good morning ladies!  Happy Valentine's Day!
  I had a fabulous weekend!  I ordered my dress on Saturday...woot!  Woot!!!  It was crazy, my measurements fell into 3 different sizes.  I never thought my body was that out of proportion : O   lol
  I ordered it from The Exquisite Bride in Murrysville.  Great experience so far.
  
  Afterwards, FI and I went to a friend's house for dinner.  It was amazing.  FI made a chicken dish that is a cross between saltimbocca/marsala/cordon bleu.  His own creation....I loved it!!!  Plus, our friends made a dish with couscous and roasted veggies.
  
  Yesterday, we met with Tammy from Cakes by Tammy.  We had 3 cakes to taste.  They were all fabulous, but the Almond Cake with fresh Strawberry Filling was my favorite.  I think we have a winner!!
  
  This morning, I am going to a Sports Medicine doc for my ankle. I am hoping she gives me a wrap and takes off this air cast.  I am ready to get back to some exercise.  This limited mobility stuff is for the birds!

  Janice - we are meeting with Tammy at the end of the month! I may ask to try the Almond cake with strawberry filling since you liked it so much!  I'm really excited to meet with her!

  Morning ladies!  FI had a bit of a fender bender on Friday, so we're dealing with that today.  I'm not sleeping too well-- starting to get stressed out.  Can't believe I'm less than 2 weeks away!  I need to make a list of everything that still needs to be done.  Of course, work and school are both overwhelming at this point (great timing).

  I went shopping with my mom and dad this weekend and ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes... oops.  We aren't doing much of anything for V-Day because I have class tonight.

  Ash- sorry to hear about your fender bender... hope everythin works out ok today.
  
  So this weekend I had to go to Kentucky for my stepsister's bridal shower... Pretty stressful and long day for me (maybe I'll explain in another post at some point), and when I came back on Saturday night my fiance was already asleep :-(
  
  However, I awoke on Sunday morning to find that the flowers he bought me were starting to bloom, and that even though he is sick, he did the dishes and the laundry, and went to the grocery store to buy some of my favorite snacks and stuff for our valentines day dinner. We eat out all the time (we live at Carson Street commons beside southside works so it's pretty easy to just eat out every night..., bad habit) so he wanted to stay in and fix something nice for me tonight :-)

  Sounds like everyone had amazing weekends - awesome!  FI is here til 5pm today, so I'm taking the day easy, but we celebrated vday yesterday by  spending the day snow tubing and getting dinner at an amazing restaurant we hadn't tried yet in Cambridge.
  
  g - sounds like an awesome time in Pgh
  db - wow you got tons done- yay!  Glad your anniversary was good.
  janice - dress and cake...sounds like my two fave wedding things!  Hope your ankle starts to feel better.
  Ash - sorry about FI's fender bender... hope things get less stressful!  So exciting that you are so close now!

  Hi ladies! Happy Valentine's Day!
  
  We had a really good weekend! Went to bingo at my church on South Side Friday with MIL &SFIL. None of us won but we had a good time!
  
  Saturday we spent much of the day down at the Waterfront! I interviewed last week for a promotion at work and found out Thursday that I got it!! So I needed some new clothes! Up til now I was able to wear jeans but now I have to be business casual and jeans only on Friday. So I scored a bunch of stuff at Old Navy! We also went to TJ Maxx, Target and BBB and got some stuff. Went to Yokoso Japanese Steakhouse for lunch--delicious! Then Barnes & Noble--my tax refund treat to myself was a Nook Color! Lovin' it so far! Then we grocery shopped and went home to watch a movie. Yesterday ran some errands and I made french onion soup!
  
  Tonight we are cooking dinner together--organic pork loins stuffed with goat cheese, dried apricots and almond slivers, mashed potatoes with gorgonzola and walnuts, and brussel sprouts in a walnut lemon vinagrette! And a pear dessert!  Oh and it's our 6 month anniversary today!!!
  
  gmc--love Claddagh (that's where our RD was!) and Sarilynn--we live so close! H & I are over on 24th St!

  Ash- I went with the Justin Alexander 8486 in Ivory/Silver.  I am super excited! 
  I can't believe you are 2 weeks away. I can't wait to see pictures of you in your dress.  I love that dress (wish I wasn't so freaking short...lol).
  DB- You are going to love Tammy!  She really helped us narrow down our design ideas too.  The fresh strawberry filling isn't one of her regular fillings, I asked if she could do it and she said yes.  I think it counts as a deluxe filling, but worth it.  I can't wait to have some for dessert tonight!
  MD- Thanks for the well wishes! I had good news at the doctor today.  I don't have to use my crutches or the air cast anymore.  I have graduate to walking with an ankle supporting orthotic (fancy ankle brace).  She said I can start using the stationary bike at the gym and work my way up to the elliptical.  She thinks I should be able to try and run in about 2-3 weeks, but will have to wear my brace when I do that!  I am just so happy to not have crutches and be able to work out again...woo-hoo!
