Last nite was FIs last nite of 12 hr 3rd shift call for the weekend. He's sleeping so I'm downstairs trying to be quiet... ...The Sandlot is playing on AMC HD. I so LOVE this movie. :)

    I actually quoted it when FI and I first started dating...I think he fell in love with my right then.

    I wish I had the day off too!! This weekend was not long enough.

    LOL! That is awesome! I quote it all the time too. I told my patient the other day (after he asked me for a Manahtten 6 hrs post open heart surgery), "You're killin' me Smalls!" He laughed.

    I love that movie. 

    I'm also jealous of everyone who has the day off.  I technically have today as a paid holiday but I have to get some grant work done by the end of the week so I'm in the lab.

    I didn't realize people had today off for the holiday. I'm off just because it's my regularly scheduled day off (I work 3-4 12s per week). If I was at work it'd be just another day. FI is off because he was 3rd shift call guy all weekend...can't exactly work a regular shift when you were already there 7p-7a.

    I LOVE The Sandlot!!! I'm pretty sure I have it recorded from when it was on TV a loonnnngg time ago, on VHS! Haha Sorry to everyone that didn't get today off. I guess that's ONE good thing about still being in school...

    Both FI and I have the day off but we have been busy running errands. I wish we could just veg but we have a lot of different things going on.
