    Oh man I have lots.  Shawshank Redemption was my favorite for a long time.  I also LOVE LOVE LOVE The Notebook and have seen it probably 10 times.  Superbad & The Hangover are amazing as well.  I have quite a mix of tastes.

    Ooh those are all really good ones!! I love Never Been Kissed, Anchorman(first movie FI and I watched together), Paper Moon..really old black and white movie. So many to choose from!!

    A tie between "A Philadelphia Story" and "Singing in the Rain"

    I love older movies too.  I think FI and I watch more movies on TCM than any other channel!

    I have too many to choose just one!

    Princess Bride, Beauty & the Beast (Disney version), Funny Girl, Pride & Prejudice (with Keira Knightley), Slumdog Millionaire, Forrest Gump . I could watch all of these over & over & over again and never get tired of them. I love watching movies.

    The Sound of Music... I used to watch it every day when I was seven. We got it from the library and I refused to let my mom return it, I think we still have a fine at my hometown library...

    Did you ever notice that the Von Trapp house from the front and the house from the back are different houses?  I'd watched that movie hundreds of times and didn't catch that until we went on the "Sound of Music Tour" while in Austria.

    I didn't know that! That's cool! :) Did you like the tour? I really want to do it sometime when we go to Europe, FI is game but he's never been able to sit through the whole movie...

    I did like it.  We saw the front house, and the gazebo, and the church where they get married, and learned a lot about the quirkly little things (like the mountain that they're hiking over at the end...that route goes to Germany).  While we were in Salzburg we saw a bunch of the places where the kids are running around during the "doe rae me" song.

    If you're a big Sound of Music fan and you haven't chosen your music yet, you might want to think about the Maria processional.  I don't know the exact title of the music, but my best friend used  it in her wedding, and I thought it was awesome, so I plan to use it as well.

    I agree that there are to many good movies to pick just one:  love Gone with the Wind, The Philadelphia Story, The Graduate, Animal House, Working Girl, When Harry Met Sally, and most Bond movies, to name a few.
