Cocktail Centerpieces

I am trying  to wrap up buying decorations. One of the last things we have is buying stuff for the cocktail table centerpieces.

We are renting 3' bsitro tables and wanted to out a lantern on them. The lanterns I found looked really small, so then we thought maybe just a vase with candle with a light blue pillar candle. Around the candle we will tie a small sanddollar with twine, and then scattered some colored stone the bottom.

I just don't know what size vase to use!

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces

  • I'd do the 9" high ones (medium).  There isn't much of a price difference and it's a better height in my opinion.

  • I like the taller.  FYI, if you aren't opposed to a smaller diameter, Dollar Tree sells 7.5" tall ones, that are like 2.5" diam or something.  It sounds like it's only for a few tables, but it might be worth saving a little cash.

  • Thanks, ladies.  I think the 3" diameter is pretty standard for candles - so I am not sure the smaller diameter would make it harder to find candles?

We are only looking for 5 or so.

  • I like the taller one as well.  6" seems like it'd be pretty short.
