Those of that are doing/have done moss letters, where did you buy the moss?

I looked at Michael's today and what they had looked all brown - is that normal?

my joann's has moss on a roll that looks like ribbon it's about 1.5-2" wide, I bought three so that I could make some moss letters. I tried the sheets and made a mess the first time.

I got mine in a large roll from a local craft store. They do have some on save-on-crafts.com though.

I have the preserved kind. I was wondering if it will ever be too early for them. Can preserved dry out and turn brown? I will want to wait if that's the case. So far it's holding up in the packaging.

I got mine at Michael's. Some of the rolls looked more brown than others so I just grabbed one that was mostly green.

I made my letter months ago and got the moss probably in November and it looks the same as when I got it. I just try to keep the letter and leftover moss roll out of the light.

Hobby Lobby and JoAns had the right stuff in my area. The "moss cloth" is easier to use. It's all by the same company, no matter where you buy it, but the moss cloth is the nicest stuff. I love how my moss letters came out!

I bought 24'' wood letters on Etsy and moss sheets from HobLob. It was so easy! Place the letter on the sheet and cut out the moss around the letter. Hot glue and you're good to go!

I did mine in probably December and they still look great!

I got the moss from Jo anns ( it was a expensive so i recomend using a coupon) I got the 48in moss
