***Milsey***

I saw you're down to 5 days!  How are you holding up?

I am SO EXCITED to see your wedding sneak peaks on Amy's Facebook next weekend!  I got my full disks from her a few weeks back, and am expecting some prints in the mail tomorrow - her work is amazing!

Ahhhh! I'm fighting off a terrible cough (but I've had it an entire week so I have confidence it won't survive all the way until Friday) and am having trouble sleeping...

but I'm super pumped. And I'm so excited to work with Amy! It'll be dark after our ceremony, which is what I'm looking forward to - I didn't want stereotypical sunset photos (no offense if you did them... I think they're BEAUTIFUL but I just wanted something different) and Amy has been wonderful and reassuring that she has some creative ideas [:

Also -- I'm emailing her my "must have" shot list tonight and she wants to know if she should start at 3 or 4 (she's booked for 8 hours, and the party ends at 12) Would you suggest 3-12, 3:30-11:30, or 4-12? I mean, she said she can always stay later if we wanted her to but I would love your opinion!

Thanks for the shout out... I feel loved. <3

I didn't have sunset photos, either (daytime) - so no offense taken.  And as with all things wedding, there's a million great ways to do things.

I had Amy for unlimited hours.  However, I still released her about half an hour before the reception ended; I felt like she probably had plenty of good photos of people dancing (she did), and like it was late (it was).  I also didn't have her at the salon until the last hour or so - again, I had plenty of time/pictures.  So I would say 3:30-11:30 would definitely be fine, unless there is something in particular you want at either 3 or midnight.

Great! Thanks for the advice -- I was in a wedding on the 28th and was trying to observe how things were run. The bride had a wonderful photographer who captured a lot, so I have a lot of confidence in Amy

P.S. OMG did you see the baby twins on her FB page? SO CUTE. I think Amy is going to be a lifelong photographer for me, haha

Congrats Milsey!!! You are getting married THIS WEEK!!!!

It's so fun sending brides off to their weddings. I'm sure you will have the best day ever!

(PS: Hopefully none of your guests want to sneak off and watch the "Carrier Classic" with MSU vs North Carolina playing on the aircraft carrier.... that's what tivo is for)
