Yay, progress!

We've finished the favors! They didn't come out exactly as I'd imagined but they're still cute and personal to us and I'm so glad to cross that off the list.

All of the parts to the table names are printed out so we just need to put them together and figure out the seating chart (which shouldn't be too rough since we have a lot less people coming than we thought we would!). And of course we have to finish stamping the names onto all of the escort paper airplanes... but we're making progress! Almost there, thank goodness!!

So glad to hear that! I still have a bunch to do, but I am coming along slowly. It is hard to get everything finished when you work full time on top of it!

My mom was in town this weekend, and we got bunches of stuff done. We met with the florist, bought more silk flowers. Met with FI grandma who is doing our cake on got ribbon/flowers for that. Planned out the ceremony with our minister on Friday. Shopped for all those little "detail" things I was avoiding ... it feels like we created new projects, but really I've just been putting them off!

Tonight we're having dinner with FMIL and we'll find the rest of FI's baby pictures for the slideshow ... and I have LOTS of shower thank you notes to write .... busy week ahead... and we really only have two prep weeks because the week of the wedding we're going to have company in town most of the week and we'll need to pack everything up for the honeymoon! Crazy how time flies ...

Gotta love checking things off the list! I have to finish putting ribbons on our favors, print the labels for our escort cards and buy our dads gifts... off the op of my head, I think thats it!

Those are great checks!

Things are coming along well here. I think we will have our final numbers by tomorrow, FI is following up with the last few family members. The seating chart is pretty much done, we can tweek it a bit if we're surprised with a yes from anyone that's left.

I only did 10 centrepieces up until this point, figured I'd wait to see how many tables I had before I did more, so I need to do a few more of those.

Also still need to find a cheap place to get rose petals for my flower girls.

That's great that everyone is moving along with all of the little details!

Sparks, I hear you - I have definitely procrastinated on much of the little stuff but once we got going on projects last night we just pushed ahead and finished the favors. We pretty much only have this week and hopefully most of Saturday before FI's sister and BIL and our nephew get into town on Sunday. Then his parents arrive on Wednesday then our friends from Germany on Thursday and then we all head out to the wedding location next Friday. Phew, I'm kind of tired thinking about it but I'm also getting more excited as everything gets closer.

Cronin, sounds like you've been great and on top of things (unlike myself, haha). Good for you! What are you getting the dads? I still have to think of something else to get FI's mom because I'm not sure if the embriodered handkerchief I got her is enough (though we're also going to get her and FI's dad an album of wedding pics after the wedding).

I'm trying to stay on top of it haha. Both of our dads are into fishing, so we are buying FI's dad a fly fishing rod and we are buying my dad a surf rod (thats all FI, its giberish to me haha). I was also thinking of possible getting our moms each a really nice picture frame, we already bought them each earrings, but I kind of want to do something a little extra!
