....I had an inkling this was happening, since all businesses have to turn a profit somehow, but an interesting article for all you Pinterest users out there!

    As an avid Pinterest user, I have to say that I don't mind at all. I don't have to deal with ads like I do on facebook, and I don't get charged dirrectly. Every company has to make money somehow, they have employees to pay like everyone else. Just because the service is free for us doesn't mean that providing us with that service is free for them.

    It was however news to me, so I do understand why some people may be upset about them not being 'transparent'. I for one don't care :P Interesting link, thanks for sharing :)

    it's not uncommon so I am not sure why people care? There is a thing called adsense which has transparent ads and are on a lot of sites. I have my wedidng and boudoir blog, both of which I make advertising $$ off of.  It's really not that big of a deal IMO.
