Uniontown community park

Ok ladies I'm new on here. But seriously just need some help. my fiance and I are getting married by next summer. haven't set a date yet because well... don't have a place yet. Well I've been searching and searching and weighing our options. Well my fiance he is like it is all up to me about everything because it is my special day.

I was looking into uniontown community park. Has anyone talked with them? I need to know if they : allow you to have alcohol (your own). and the price and what time they close. Any other info would be great!

My dream wedding is something in between casual and elegant. I want something that is scenic like a park by a lake and the hall is completely enclosed and you can do your own food and pretty much do your own thing. Alright thanks!

I live near there but have not talked with them.  My suggestion would be to call them and find out.  I'm not sure what their stance on alcohol would be.  I know that Hartville (neighboring town in the same school district) is a dry community and so I don't know if Uniontown holds those same standards or not.

    Best of luck planning!

I looked into there when we were planning our 2009 wedding.  You can bring in your own catering and alcohol.  The hall rental was $795 up front, with $200 returned after the event, provided it was in good order.  So $595 total to rent the hall (two years ago, so the prices might have changed).  If you have alcohol you have to pay security guards to show up.  You also need to rent linens for the tables and silverware/china.  I really liked it but the price for the hall and everything else you have to rent went way over our budget.  You also have to clean up after yourselves, and I really didn't want to stay after our reception (or make anyone else stay) in order to clean up, so we decided to pass.  But if you're interested I would say call them and find out if anything has changed.  Good luck!

update: I got a hold of someone from the park and she said they rent it out for $530 PLUS a $200 security deposit and if you have alcohol you have to have a policeman on duty watching the whole time AND you have to pay him or her 22$ per hour. I think we may pass. I found out 2 family members are members of the local VFW and they have a nice enclosed hall by a lake , it has a dancefoor and a playground for the kids and is by a lake which is what I want...something decent and I get to rent it for half price which is only $250. It also has a small gazebo next to the hall so I was just going to have the wedding there. AWESOME NEWS!!
