Bride and Groom Introduction at Reception

I'm meeting with my band leader tomorrow to discuss the reception music and introductions. He wants to know how FI and I want to be introduced. Part of me thinks Mr. and Mrs. John Doe sounds too traditional, especially since my first name isn't mentioned. Simply saying John and Jane Doe sounds a little too informal since I will be a Mrs. for the first time. Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Doe sounds long but might be the best compromise for me.

How does everyone else plan to be introduced?

We're doing John and Jane Doe. I didnt want to do Mr. and Mrs. because I have a name too. And your right, the last one sounds to long.

I am doing Mr. and Mrs. John Doe. I thought of doing John and Jane Doe but it was a bit informal for me and Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Doe was a bit long.

I am also up in the air about this!

I was thinking about just doing Mr & Mrs Doe. No first names listed at all. Although I prefer Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Doe But it does sound really long!

I know it's sexist and old-fashioned, but I like Mr. and Mrs. John Doe. So that's what we're doing.

We're doing Mr. & Mrs. FILastName

My first name doesn't sound right with his last name and I didn't think it was fair for him to get his first name announced, so we're forgoing first names. I'm a brat.

Not a Brat!! I totally agree and I think this is what we are also going to do :)

I have no idea what we should do since my last name will be hyphenated (like our daughters) and he is keeping his...we just might get intro'd with just first names...
