DIY Favor Tags

I have 2" yellow boxes with white ribbon to tie to the top. I want to add a tag that says "We're so glad you came" and our names, but every idea I come up with looks cheap! Any ideas to make it look special, yet easy to make?

Re: DIY Favor Tags

  • We made small tags that just said "thank you!" Love, Missy & Ryan 5-28-11. They were very simple and small put were printed on very nice paper, so that made them look less "cheap" (well I guess the nice paper actually made them less cheap literally but I like the way they turned out)

I'm not very creative, so I didn't do a lot of DIY - but maybe try posting this on the DIY board as well - you might get more ideas there!

  • If you print it on cardstock, I doubt it would look cheap! Just use a nice font!

  • I'm not sure if they still sell them, but we got ours from Party City.  They were designed to be used with your home computer/printer.  Each tag had an embossed border around it and a hole punched in it so you could attach it with a ribbon.  I think we paid like $3.99 for 100.  They were very easy to use.

  • I'm using the Free Vistaprint business cards for favor tags! If you just hold punch the corner you can easily tie on a ribbon!
