TTD Pictures are in!

Our disc of all pictures (almost 250) came in the mail today. I put my favorites on facebook and our married bio in my siggy.

If you have a chance, I'd really recommend you do a TTD. It was so fun!

I really want to do a TTD but I'm a little nervous that my dress will be ruined after! what is the condition of yours now??

My dress is good as new. I took close up pictures of the cleaning process because everyone always asks that, but now I can't find them on my computer in the midst of all the new files.

We cleaned it ourselves right after to get rid of the sand. Initially we put it in the bathtub, but there was just too much dress for that so we took it outside. We hung it up from the bottom of the upper deck and sprayed it off top to bottom with the hose in little sections. It blasted the sand right off without hurting the ruching, organza, beading, or lace overlays. We left it outside to dry until dark, then brought it inside and hung it in the shower.

The only thing I noticed was a little bit of sand left in the very bottom inside train liner. There's a small hole where the train loop was sewn on the inside that let sand in, but not out. We had to open the train seam a little on the inside to dump it out and then sew it shut again. I dropped it off at the dry cleaner yesterday and they didn't even blink.

Oh. My. God Teach! I LOVE the pictures! I have been looking at them and this totally sold me. This is the one area that I refuse to skimp and DIY, your pictures are absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for posting them!!
