  I am having my reception in the Starlight Ballroom.  The room downstairs with the dome is very striking too, but it's so close to the entrance of the hotel.  With the starlight, you get the entire top floor of the hotel, private cocktail room, great view of the ocean and the entire island.
  
  I think there's not many reviews because the hotel itself has definitely fallen in popularity/ratings.  It used to be a Wyndham and is now just its own thing.  It still has a touch of elegance and class in the lobby, but you can tell its not what it used to be.  And I admit that even as a future bride. 
  
  But we got a great package price with their team and the Starlight is very unique, gotta see it in person.

  I went to a wedding in the Starlight ballroom and it was beautiful!!!

  Thanks for the response! How is the food? I still need to go see the place, I just got back into town last night. I emailed them two weeks ago and never heard back...guess I will just call them tomorrow! I can't wait to see the ballroom for myself!

  Hello,
  I am not sure if you are still on here, but I see your wedding has passed. Congrats! I was wondering now you had your reception, if you could tell me a little about it. I, too, am considering a wedding/reception in the Starlight Ballroom. I would really appreciate it as I am a bit skeptic.

  we are having our wedding reception there on 10/20 and we are so excited.  Rush and check it out becasue the dates fill up quickly for the starlight room.
